I really don't think increasing tax would ever decrease the number of cigarettes bought.Why don't we leave it to smokers themselves to decide either to quit or to get themselves hurt by smoking.If a smoker decided to stop smoking,he would do so,not because smoking is geeting more expensive,but because he is really willing to save his deterirating health.
