Mayor Returns to the City's Streets, Literally

Submitted by Larry Littlefield, Dec 18, 2007 09:03

(The city has paved 5,000 lane-miles of streets since 2002, the equivalent of a quarter of all city streets receiving a new coat of pavement since 2002.)

At that rate, all streets would be repaved in 20 years. So the immediate follow up question is, is the expected life of an asphalt roadway 20 years, or something less?
