bin Laden has to sneak around from one dark cold wet cave to another, all the while with a serious disease. He lives in constant fear that we will infiltrate his inner-circle and that we will kill him. His heroic status fades everyday that he sits in hiding. Huge resources are spent searching for him. Thousands of people, billions in technology. Finding him is not important to our overall goals, it never has been. Keeping him on the run gives the USA the best of both worlds- we neutralize him without making him a martyr.

The war has been mismanaged, but we are finally in control. We own these terrorists now, they're all on the run. We're killing dozens of terrorists at a time without losing a single Marine in some cases. And it's all because McCain and Lieberman has the foresight to call for more troops and hire a competant general.

Hawk or dove, this is not the time to dwell on past mistakes. Anti-war doves are bitter that the surge is working. They enjoy prediciting defeat for America because the war issue alone vindicates every anti-Western, anti-capitalist, anti-Flag impulse they have. These same people are gleefully waiting for another terrorist attack on our soil to vindicate their sick, cowardly belief that the best defense is no offense.

I look forward to McCain/Lieberman '08 should our country be so lucky.
