Wilfred, Smarts and campaign strategy and a willingness to go on talk radio won't help Rudy. It was odd that the GOP would even consider supporting a pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, pro- gun control candidate in 1980, by 2007 the idea is laughable. The GOP decided to appeal to religious zealots, gun freaks, and angry white men who despise non-white people. Hence, they are stuck with candidates like Huckabee who are surging in the polls despite having no money. Rudy is done, and its not because of Rudy or Bush handlers, its because the GOP hates his positions. Maybe he can pull a Romney and declare that he opposes abortion and gay rights and gun control!
