Dear Nan:

I am out here and I am paying attention. I am voting for Ron Paul too. I was also a Dem. I took a big breath and re-registered to vote as a Republican. I found out later that this was not necessary. This made me realize how desperate I am to help change the direction our country is taking.

If we don't take action now, then we won't even be able to openly communicate on forums like this. Politicians on both sides of the aisle are voting away our civil rights without even a flinch anymore. This scares me to death. And it should be scaring everyone else in this country to death too.

I don't want China to own us. Our government is a spendaholic/shopaholic that needs a serious intervention. We are "swiped out'. We cannot sustain living beyond our means anymore. Anyone who has credit cards and has maxed them out knows THE CREDITORS CALL THE SHOTS... Do we really want to have China as a creditor??

Even if folks don't like Ron, as American citizens we are responsible for stopping our government from becoming a tyrant. My fellow citizens, if you can't vote for Ron at least hold your government accountable for its errors. Don't let your freedom go, it's the most important thing that we have.
