Delay of Lebanese Election Will Be Setback for U.S.-Syria Relations

You keep repeating the same mistruths and agains I ask you why?

Michel Aoun was exiled for 15 years because he opposed Syria while the so called "anti syrians" were in power filling their pockets for 15 years. They took him to court for testifying before US Congress and the UN against the Syrian occupation; and then jumped ship to the anti Syrian bandwagon when Aoun succeeded in Liberating Lebanon.

saniora, hariri et al allied with hizballa in the 2005 elections, they formed a government with them and legitimised hizballa's weapons. Till this moment they are begging hizballa ministers to return to cabinet;

Aoun signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hizballa that involved disarming the group; yet the international community wants a pawn that can be prosyrian, pro israeli, pro us, pro russian, pro iranian & pro suadi depending which direction the wind is blowing.

They do not want a genuine Lebanese like Michel Aoun that can bring peace & stability to Lebanon and the region.
