Soldier Saves Iraqi Child in Unlikely Adoption

Submitted by John T. O'Connor, Dec 24, 2007 13:25

Our military people, thank God, represents the best that our stumbling country has to offer.  When I hear ignorant left wing zealots or even just dumb jerks parroting  what their teachers or professors spout, I just want  to hit something.  I know, I know, not a very Christian thought at Christmas.  Even  if you're against the war for pragmatic purposes, wrong place, wrong time etc., don't ever claim that American motives are imperialistic.  We'll never get our costs back, are still paying over $3 a gallon for gas that we could have taken and then we have the Captain Southworths.  No other nation in history sacrificed so much for so little in return.  Merry Christmas Captain Southworth and Ala'a.
