Mr. Kudlow,

Bush will never get credit from the MSM for being the steward of a good economy. If he were a Democrat in spite of the war, his approval ratings would be far higher. Democrats-meaning the voters-simply do not understand the value of tax cuts. And you are correct; they should be cut more.

Bush did not do the right thing when he didn't veto a single spending bill during his first term. I think he thought if he was half a Democrat politician he would receive some approbation from the press.

Unfortunately, the current success in Iraq, the fact we haven't been attacked again which is amazing, and the good economy have not helped Bush much in his popularity rating which is almost ensuring that Hillary will be president.
