I long for the day when the editors of the Sun recognize that their favorite son is also lumbered with that same instinct to tax and spend that the editors perceive so clearly in the Democratic Party's candidates. Michael Bloomberg, whatever his personal qualities, is a liberal Democrat with the same righteous urges to tell others how to live, and to try solve all our problems by aggregating the power and wealth of the voters to himself and a chosen few. Come, do you seriously believe that Mr. Bloomberg will not do as Spitzer has done, if given the power to do it?
