Brain Implants Jump-Start Comatose Man

A few years ago my wife suffered a stroke on both sides of the brain caused by a chiropractic adjustment of her neck. The procedure almost killed her. Over the years there has been some improvement, she eats, walks, communicates thru gestures, very basic. She needs full time care. Do you think the Brain Implants is something I should resarch?
