Miss Colon, what I see, but fail to understand in the quote above is:

1 - Why the award should have been an HONOUR for the un-chosen General David Petraeus, if, as you say, "this tribute no longer carries much weight"? This award would have put General Petraeus and Mister Hitler into the same list, would not it?

2 - What makes you compare Mister Putin to Mister Hitler? Mister Putin did not kill about forty million people, did he?

3 - Why not say "Time magazine named Vladimir Putin its 2007 Person of the Year. This is no surprise, as Time gave President Roosevelt a similar honor ...em...do-not-remember-when-exactly..." etc? They are all in one list, anyway...
