I had the Honor and pleasure of working for Norman..

I worked for him as a Salesman and Sommelier. (Manhattan and Brooklyn).

The year that he broken in to the so-called every day Table wine.

On one of my eveing Sales talks at a Shul in NYC, a gentlemen listen to me , (did not buy), found that gentlemen following me at another lecture. , As the days and months when by, this Gentlemen spoke to me. ""I want to talk to you"" You are knowledageable of wines and my wife has heard you at Cooking with wines at Young Isreal.

Lets sit down and Talk. "What does this man want to see me about... Never gave me an order, has seen me around, sents his wife to my lecture?

Well we sat down and he told me what he wanted..me a business proposal , That he is opening a Glatt Kosher Restaurant - Goumet 5 Star in MI. On top of the JCC. Partnership..........

As a young man took it.... The 1st year, we only served Norman:s wines.

This restaurant was a hit... Only open for Dinner ....Pvt Club. Open for the public community on Thur's nights.. Full Tux's every night. Hapes for music ,When to Isreal 4 times a year for meat. Each setting had 15 place settings, 5 wines glases for each item eaten. Waiter, Captain , Bus boy, maid , sommelier , kitchen runner. All by credit cards.

If it was not for SCHAPIRO Wines, I would have never made the contact.

Been around the world with wines, but still drink Schapiro... My home will never be with out them. No holiday , will be the same with out it........ Yes, I became New York States 1st America born SOMMELIER and the Only Kosher Sommelier for many years.
