It is a shame that people read a one sided story and let their emotions controle thier disition making skills. I would ask these people that think slaughtering horses for human consumption is wrong what thay would do with a horse that is crippled and can not be used for any practacal purpose is it to live the next 15 to 20 years in a fenced area with a couple million others. as with any thing in nature man has changed the natural corse of events in horses lives thay no longer run the plans of the west and dye of natural causes. we use them for our plesure. what are we to do with them when we are threw with them? I will wager the same people that are crying about killing horses have pets, well what do you think your pet is eating? yes some horse meat. So it's ok for your dog to eat it, but not a person? No one is saying thay have to eat it just let others that do enjoy it. I would perpose that their be a tax on the sale of horse meat. and that all money generated from this tax be used to feed the hungry people of the world.
