Reader comment on:
The True Person Of the Year

Submitted by Sir Lancelot, Dec 31, 2007 07:13

Your comment, while sensational, is a total fabrication of the truth. Billions have not been spent on embryonic stem cell research, either publicly or privately. No respected scientist in the field of stem cell research has come out and said that reprogramming skin cells has more promise then embryonic stem cell research. Both the Japanese and American scientists who founded the reprogramming method have stated that the viability of this new process will not be clear for years to come. No one knows what the real potential is of any type of stem cell research. I understand that you are passionate about your cause, as am I, but please respect your readers enough to present them with true facts instead of unsubstantiated fabrications of the truth.
