Giuliani Derides Idea of a Crack Amnesty

I want to start out by saying that we are forgetting that these individuals are in there for dealing dugs not killing anyone. They are serving severer time as if they have commited murder. I belive severe time should be giving to those who comitted sexual abuse or child abuse. Yes murder may have been involved in some of these drug cases but if you did not commit murder and just sold drugs why are you giving such harsh time. Also people who sell coke get far much less time that crack dealers. That doesnt make any sense. The coke in crack is far much less. They add baking soda to coke to create more crack there for is less coke in crack . 10 grams of coke can make 20 grams of crack. Why is that crack is harsher. The coke is the main susbstance in creating cocaine. It just doesnt make any sense. Plus we are a state that stands by equal rights. We fight long and hard for it. Why are we not being equal amongst ourselves. These individuals may not have been a good prospective in our community but still in all they did not hurt anyone. They are serving severe time. I think that these crack dealers have learned their lesson. If they havenet then they should simply be arrested serve time but again not severe time. Any time that a person is serving iis a life taught lesson. But serving severe time for a crime that is cosidered not viloent is just plainly not good. It reminds me of slaves....
