Mayor Softens His Denial About Running

Submitted by kathy moore, Jan 3, 2008 07:51

Thank you Mr. Bloomberg. So far I am not impressed with any of the candidates that were chosen by one group or another. People are Just a little more than upset at these candidates. They all speak the same language, and not one of them has a clue to what Americans need or want from them. It would be wonderful if they would stop talking this jibberish and get down to brass tacks. We, the people, want to know facts. We want to hear from each of them just how they plan to make the changes they are staking their reputations on. Because believe me, it is their reputations on the line. I want to hear some serious discussion. So far all I've heard is political meandering about what they think we want to hear, what their real constituents want said. All the candidates need to understand that we are not stupid cows to be led to the corn crib. We are just tired of them, in general, and as a whole body: BOTH THE DEMOCRATS AND THE REPUBLICANS. We need a real candidate. One who is not afraid to buck the PACs and Corporations. One who is not afrais to tell us the truth, whether we want to hear it or not. We know America, and Americans, are not easy to live with. But we have a deep, abiding love for our country. AND WE ARE TIRED OF THE OLD GUARD RUNNING IT THEIR WAY BEHIND OUR BACKS. We the people, are not afraid to fight for our beliefs, opinions or wants. We will works our butts off for what we want and need. We expect the President and both the Seante and House members to do no less.

So, if you are willing to throw your hat in, I, for one, am willing to listen to what you have to say as well. Be careful you don't end up sounding like one of the other jackenapes.
