Clinton's Iowa Loss

You write'as fact: "On foreign policy, Mrs. Clinton, as the caucuses approached, so far to the left that her positions were practically indistinguishable from those of Mr. Obama."

You write, as opinion: "Mrs. Clinton suffered on foreign policy not from a perception that she was a hawk or a dove but from the perception that she stood for no principle other than getting herself elected."

The only flaw in your analysis is the use of the weaselword word "perception". Mr. Obama IS motivated by admirable principles. Mrs. Clinton - from the fact you recite - IS motivated by nothing other than electoral strategies and tactics, devoid of principled sincerity. The people of Iowa have spoken. Hopefully the peopleof New Hampshire and South Carolina will be equally perceptive.
