Raines, Trammell Deserve Better Hall Balloting

You have got to be kidding me. I am not going to knock alan t. but I no way can he ever be compared to Jim Rice. Jim Rice was the most dominating hitter in the AL for a 10 year period. Alan was a good hitter and a fine fielder but you have to be kidding. Did you actually watch a game in the late 70s. There were years when only one or 2 hitters had 30 or more hr. rarely did a player hit 40. In that period Rice was the man and no one even came close except Brett in the AL. It has also taken rice 14 years to gain the support he has gotten. Trammel has time left to gain more support. Though he probably like rice hace to count on the veterans vote.

Rice should be in.No doubt. let the players from his day vote and he would be a lock.
