Clinton's Iowa Loss

Submitted by Richard Meade, Jan 4, 2008 14:16

Up until last night I had resigned myself to the fact that Hillary's nomination was inevitable; that somehow the mainstream media would find a way to ram another Clinton through to victory.

Senator Obama seems to have accomplished the impossible by killing Mrs. Clinton with kindness. I no longer think that even the Clinton machine, with all its resources, deviousness and bald-faced lies will be able to figure out a way to attack Obama without generating a tremendous backlash.

And attack is the only weapon left available to them because the mainstream media can no longer spread itself thinly enough to cover for her complete lack of substance, her dubious record of "experience" or her shameless, naked ambition.
