City Seeks To Put the Brakes On Employee Parking Abuse

Submitted by cb, Jan 5, 2008 09:26

About time...downtown brooklyn parking has been decimated for years with these City/State/Fed employee's parking privileges. Make the offense VERY COSTLY, not just a reprimand as government/union rules tend to do. I get outraged when I watch my car being ticketed or occasionally towed downtown Brooklyn, when right in front of me at a meter a government employee has parked for the day. Let them pay or take public transit like the rest of us. And for those public employee's that are always talking about Global Warming, don't be a hypocrites. CB Bklyn Hgts
