City Seeks To Put the Brakes On Employee Parking Abuse

Submitted by Jay Gerstein, Jan 5, 2008 19:47

Asa disabled driver and a holder of a parking permit for disabled drivers I laud this policy. I hope that this time, unlike many other attempts, this change will be promptly and vigorously enforced. I see this abuse regularly and at times it directly affects me and my fellow permit holders. Parking privelege abuses by city officials, notably the NYPD, gives a black eye to the City Government and diminishes our faith in fairness and the rule of law in NYC.
