Fellow teachers, let's be honest. If the city makes it easy for us to park our cars--with permits, lots, designated spaces, etc.--we will drive. If the city makes it difficult, we will find alternatives. For me parking is difficult, so I bought a bicycle and I take the bus in bad weather. I'm in better shape and I am not polluting as much. You know that you can figure out a way to get to work if you had to. Let's stop whining and lets do our part to make this a better city. Let's get out of our cars--or move to the burbs.
