The Upside of Bush's Foreign Policy

Submitted by Marcie Conner, Jan 8, 2008 10:23

I heard President Bush say that he was going to increase aid substantially to Africa to combat AIDS during what I believe was a State of the Union address. Why is there surprise that he actually did what he said he would do? He has done this throughout his administration. He wasn't always sucessful, but it wasn't for lack of trying to implement what he said he was going to do. As far as current level of press reportage, I think if all the journalism schools were turned into teaching adobe brick making their usefulness would be much improved.
