If Senator Kennedy had not been kept from the White House by an assassin's bullet, the history of the last ~40 years would have been dramatically different, in an extraordinary positive way. I am glad for a dramatic gesture to honor him, and suggest that an inspiring quote, perhaps the ripples of hope quote, be placed where it can be contemplated while people are stuck in traffic jams--- or printed on the receipts some people request as they drive through. "Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance." Robert F. Kennedy
