Downtown Brooklyn Finally Arrives

Submitted by tellitlikeitis, Jan 8, 2008 18:07

Downtown Brooklyn blows. I lived my whole life there, and I liked it better when it was a "dump". Thats when it was really cool. Now its become so phony and pre fab. Brooklyn lost its identity and diversity. Nothing but a bunch of snobbish unfriendly yuppies from the mid west, who have made it unaffordable to even live there anymore. Brooklyn is not Brooklyn anymore. Its become an extension of Manhattan. When neighborhoods turn gentrified (or white), they are not cool anymore. Im glad I moved out of state. SF is a much better place. More real New Yorkers out here than in Brooklyn.
