BRENDAN BERNHARD is very accurate with her opinions on recent PBS article. I had similar feelings after hearing the sickenly neutral PBS treatment of this subject. Over medications of children is a serious problem in the country and needs to be adressed by our medical community. "Explosive irritability" is not a symptom of Bipolar Disorder and this diagnosis should not be applied to children especially ones as young as 3.
