Exonerated of Rape Conviction, Man Is Freed After 26 Years

Submitted by firefighterb, Jan 9, 2008 20:14

I am not suprised about this article becaUse it is happening all over our nations particulary to the poor who are unable to afford good attorneys. Also I am angry the the parole board denied this man his release becuase he wouldn't admit to a crime that he did not do. I feel that they need to take thier personal feeeling out of it and judge the imate based on thier behavior and reformation in prison. It is a sad and scary day for all of us WHEN PROSECUTORS ARE MORE CONCERN ABOUT THIER RECORD OF WINS AND LOSES THAN whenter a person is innocent . I am angry for this man and I feel tha he should sue the parole board as well for keeping him locked up all of that time. Last but not least if 15 imates have been relased since 2001 in Texas imagine how many innocent men have died on thier death row. JUST THINK ABOUT THAT ONE.
