i've known mike since 1969 when both of us were wall street stockbrokers. at that time, mike was the head block trader for solomon bros. because of his ability to buy/sell 10,000 share or more of stock by doing a "cross" (be both the buyer and seller on the same trade) he left solomon bros. and started bloomberg lp, now the #1 financial news services firm. as mayor, mike is currently #1 in new york city (which many consider the #1 city). the only thing left for mike to be #1 at is president of the united states. i wish the media would do something about mike's wall street days because if you understand mike bloomberg the head block trader, you will understand mike bloomberg the president of the united states. mike has been nearly perfect in doing things in a manner that no one has done before so being elected president as an independent candidate will not suprise anyone who knew mike bloomberg the head block trader.
