Philharmonic Announces 2008–09 Season

Submitted by George Jochnowitz, Jan 10, 2008 20:55

There seems to be too much modern music. Music changed its nature in 1904, between the third and fouth movements of Mhaler's 6th Symphony, as I say in my book, THE BLESSED HUMAN RACE. Before then, music was meant to be beautiful. Afterwards, it was meant to be challenging. The Philharmonic lacks the originality to play beautiful music more often and challenging music less frequently.
