Lincoln was not a particularly good businessman, spent about the same amount of time in the Illinois legislature and Senator Obama has, was neither a senator nor a governor before taking office as president. Granted, the intricacies of the presidency were a lot less challenging back then. . .oh! wait! There was that Civil War. He somehow managed to hold a country together. Imagine. With no experience.
