I am concerned here about the chronic use in the media of such terms as "victory/defeat" or "win/lose". A primary is not a winner-take-all; as with a lottery, the winner of the jackpot and the winner of $5 are both winners! Over and over and over -- even in such respected media as NPR -- this misleading and subverting terminology of "win/lose" or "victory/defeat" is used. It is bound to influence the primary voters yet to come.

Please, people, hit up your favorite media sources on the improper use of this terminology!
