Bush: U.S. Should Have Acted on Auschwitz

It has always touched me deeply, the way our President behaves on issues of morality. Things of depth and consequence truly matter to him. You can tell not just by his emotions and his tears that fall over only significant things, but the way he raised his daughters with Laura. These girls care about the world, even today as Jenna Bush works with UNICEF. You can tell because he wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to issues of morality. You can tell by his comments unedited with Tony Blair about getting those SOB's responsible for the terrorist attacks. How firm he's been on child trafficking and pornography, his appointment of Alberto Gonzales.........though some question it, the truth still remains Alberto had one of this countries largest arrests in child pornography history. Or his discussions with The Prince of Saudi Arabia about the rape victim who was chastised and ordered to receive lashes for being alone with a man she is not betrothed to, which supposedly justified the gang rape. Post Katrina, Post Virginia Tech, Post 9-11, this President cares about people. Maybe he doesn't always make the perfect decision, but he does make them based on his sense of morals and what he believes to be the best way to eradicate a problem. He searches his heart and soul and prays reflectively as he did this day in Auschwitz, pondering what he would do under the circumstances..........he hungers to defend life, to preserve dignity and to overthrow Tyrannical dictators that strip us of human rights, dignity and honor........They often they kill thousands and tens of thousands in order to reign, dominate and annihilate. What happened at Auschwitz was an atrocity uncomparable to mankinds history except maybe the dark ages........but probably not even then. This is one more reason to worry about our next elections. I am deeply concerned America's ignorance will lead them to elect.........an idiot, someone incapable of handling bird Flu, Iran or Al Qaieda, China or God knows who else. I believe in Rudy Giuliani because he espouses much of the same backbone of steel in the face of eminent danger and calamity, and he does so with grace and dignity. He shows a real concern for human life. I thank these men for giving this country back dignity in a post Clinton era of illicit sexual gratification and terrorist negligence.
