Raising the salary for current pharmacist in expensive cities like Newyork is great news. Also, this will bring more hope for future pharmacists for their job security. High demand means more job and also more salary. With such a huge debt to pay off after graduating, I am really happy with such news. But I am concerned about the 3 states that is mentioned here where the highest number of prescriptions are filled- "Residents of only three states — California, Texas, and Florida — filled more prescriptions, according to data obtained from the Kaiser Family Foundation." I wonder whether in these states the pharmacist are paid highly like in newyork - 120K/ year or its just Newyork?
