Shortage of Pharmacists Raises Pay
in response to reader comment: Great news for future pharmacists

Submitted by J, Jan 16, 2008 16:17

In response to Suzie's comment about NYC only making 120K/year - many places in Minnesota and Wisconsin pay 115-120 starting, as well as Texas and Arizona (and not just major cities).

Actually, when adjusted for cost-of-living, NYC and other mega-city pharmacists are some of the least well-off pharmacists in the nation. 120 grand in the Midwest goes a heck of a lot further than 120 grand in NYC.
