Ms. Magazine Decision Is Called 'Contemptible'

Submitted by David S. Levine, Jan 16, 2008 20:31

What were these liberal (Jewish) women thinking? Don't they realize that it is a condition precedent for liberal-left activity to be an anti-Semite and Israel basher? Have their heads been in the sand for the past 2 1/2 decades? Did they think that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have had no effect on today's liberalism? the fact is that since the 1970s liberalism has turned openly anti-Semitic. There is a group of Democrat politicians in the House and Senate who are reliable Israel bashers and they soon will dominate the Democrat Caucus. Among them are Committee Chairmen John Conyers, Nick Rahall, John Dingell, George Miller, Jim Moran, James Oberstar, David Obey, Pete Stark and Mel Watt. Lynne Woolsey is very active in this area and Senator Patty Murray sent a representative to the funeral of terrorist abettor Rachel Corey. Others include Jesse Jackson, Jr., and upstate Democrat Representative Maurice Hinchey. Those who think that Israel bashing is not the sole provenance of liberalism today need a severe reality check.
