National Passenger Corporation (AMTRAK) Board of Directors pockets have been very heavy for eight years while this union and workers have not received any increase or cost of living increase. Then you wonder why the workers are losing their housing and why these worker have been in recession for eight years.

We have sympathy for the writer strike; but these average writers make more money than this NATIONAL PASSENGER CORPORATION (AMTRAK) union worker. These union workers especially since September 11, 2001 have worked under extreme difficult situations.

They have worked around improper disposal of asbestos removal at their train yards "Especially Sunnyside Yard" Queens, NY. They have been assigned to work crafts out of their job description with this new management turnover at Sunnyside Yard. These union workers have been treated like garbage and then still they are refused a raised and the raised that is owe to them for the pass EIGHT YEARS.

AMERICA please speak up in the SUPPORT OF THESE AMERICAN WORKERS.
