Which Rising Star Will Be 'Next Randi Weingarten'?

Submitted by Jane Doe, Jan 17, 2008 16:12

If Randi Weingarten becomes a national labor leader, God help the workers of the world. I have never encountered such a hostile, unresponsive individual in all my 62 years of life. All those smiles and stated interest in the working public - all an act. She sold us down the river in terms of rights of tenured teachers; she has completely ignored our needs and our rights.

The fact that she may leave the UFT gladdened my day somewhat - no one could be less fit to lead teachers.
