Ms. Alvarez would be a perfect choice to lead The United Federation of Teachers. I have seen her dedication to her work firsthand. She is a smart, educated, caring individual who believes in ALL students no matter of race, creed, color or disability. It would be a pleasure to see her step up and take the helm of our union.

Good Luck Carmen!! We are rooting for you!!
