Dr. Wyne's actions are indeed commendable, but such heroic actions do nothing to solve the overall problem of health care in this country. In an advanced country like ours, health care is a basic human right and should not be provided as an act of charity. You claim that "best care" is provided free to the un - and under-insured? Does best care extend to hospitalization? Does best care include access to drugs? Does best care include access to rehabilitation services? What happens if a patient needs access to a neurologist? Does Dr. Wyne provide that also?

I would be more interested to know who died in SI because he/she was deprived of adequate access than who was saved due to the heroic actions of Dr. Wyne.
