The DEMs have already conspired to win the white house by playing the strongest of strategies - a Clinton/Obama ticket or vice versa, with Edwards as chief of staff or National Security or attorney General. You'll hear no more bickering!
The GOP must counter with their strongest suit, possibly Romney/Huckabee or vica versa with the CA governator in a white house cabinet position.
The Independents have only one hand that might throttle both of the above. A Bloomberg/Powell ticket! Perhaps that's what Bloomberg is waiting for ... for an otherwise reluctant Colin Powell to decide to commit to at least 4 years as VP.
