Israel's Lesson in War

Submitted by John Mobile, Alabama USA, Jan 21, 2008 18:29

Israel, like the U.S., is cursed with affluence, modernity and a basic decency that almost forbids seeing an enemy as implacable & EVIL. We seem to think that differences can be talked away. Sadly untrue; just look at Chamberlain waving his "peace" treaty talking about peace in our time. There was peace, but only after the deaths of millions with the good guys winning. Yes, the US and Israel are the good guys in this war. We either defeat them or be defeated by them. If a nation is not prepared to fight a war, it had better be ready to lose one. G-d help us all if we lose.
