Yes, summed up right there. While it seems to be politically in fashion to be Centrist, Mrs. Clinton has taken a baby step left by saying, "If I'da known then what I know now... ". Now is that a position to be built on or something to be doubled back on for a right-side audience some time?? Maybe it's just another revolution around the Moderate Middle May Pole. What of Gingrich? Just to make things more complicated.
In the midst of all speculation, one thing is axiomatic- we are all political students, some with a graduate degree for certain (JB!), but none with an absolute lock on the true pulse. Transparency is ever increasing due to technology and feedback forums such as this. But public opinion seems to always harbor a suprise. Just look at last November, I'm sure there's no shortage of stunned experts. Past performance does not necessarily predict future results.
I don't know which horse I am backing yet. Will whoever he/she is be freshly more toward one side or just plain old fashionable? I still hope there are new ideas versus simply bashing the status quo.
On another note . . . Gaza problems, thus far a great shuttle mission, ladies to the back of the bus in Jerusalem, possible planned US Persian Gulf naval buildup... patiently awaiting the return of John Batchelor LIVE.
Merry Christmas,
