Thought you would have interest: Re: America's Veterans & Election '08 Why haven't any of the Presidential candidates (except for Edwards) spoken about our nation's veterans? There are over 400,000 homeless veterans. The forgotten warriors of the Presidential campaign. WILL ANY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE FIGHT FOR OUR VETERANS? This should be a major campaign issue. You can make it one and help America. As you know in Election 2000, Gore "lost" the State of Florida by only 574 votes. In election '04, Kerry lost the State of Ohio by 118,599 votes and the election. There are over 25 million veterans plus their families...millions of potential votes that could determine the election outcome. Don't let the Presidential candidates remain silent about our homeless veterans and our homeless men, women and children who live on America's streets. Speak out and guide the debate.
