the war is in effect. it is not entertainment. our families are in harms way. yes. this is true.

the story deserves to be told. but what is the story? support the troops not the govt that lied to get them where they are? sound familiar? um how bout, blackwater? id like to see te truth of that story. what happened in fallujah? really....? the "investigations" are ongoing...so how can we say what the story is....

meanwhile a new rambo movie is coming out.

will my kids run around the yard with sticks pretending they are in the sandbox shooting? the way i preteneded i was in THE NAM shooting VC? maybe. but maybe not. this war might be the one the kids forget as a whole. will america be the good guy? the hippies look pretty clean cut this time around. we arent saving anyone from communism. (oh man we bled and died for that too.) what are we doing? yes american soldiers can certainly be a crass lot. but they can be ladies and gentlemen as well.

does "following orders" really excuse anything anymore? the nuremburg people said no as long ago as the end of ww2. gitmo abu ghraib US mercenaries in war zones etc.

its a political economic goal.

we are trying to create a "situation"

we are not halliburton.

we are americans

as for iraq movies. let the war end first. give the finger pointing time to do its thing. the trials the aftermath in the international community

then show me what the sandbox WAS. for them who were in it.

thanks.
