Chances of Gore Endorsement Are Said To Be Fading

Submitted by Carthage, Jan 23, 2008 23:09

The scorched-earth campaign of the ClintonS, willing to use any tactic/lie/division for their personal gain, is dangerous for the party's chances in November. Instead of celebrating a new fresh voice who is bringing in thousands of voters into the party (i.e. the future), the Clintons are willing to "roll the dice" and have decided that the have to do what they have to do to win. Unfortunately, this brings the Rove/Atwater tactics into the party, and the wounds go way beyond the ususal "it's politics, get over it", and by october, we'll all be on the same side. HRC has NO appeal to repubublicans (this seems to be the only slice of the electorate she is able to unite - and they will come out in droves, weakening the down-ticket candidates for house and senate in red-turning-purple states), her tactics drive independents to Mccain, and enough of us life-long dems might just stay home if they keep this up. Ask Rove: without the indep,, there is no win, especially if you cannot turn out all your own. So I urge any current and former elected dem. leader, even the ones that endorsed HRC, to speak out against what is going on - this IS personal about the Clintons - the candidates are not that far apart on the issues... Mr. Gore, is this video, at this very moment, your way of ducking responsibilty at this crucial moment? Why this NOW, at this crucial moment?
