'Paradigm Change' Is Seen as Arabs Flee Gaza

We all know Israel would like to wash its hands of the Palestinian mess and dump it on Egypt, but that won't work. The reason is quite simple; if Palestinians have unrestricted access to Egypt, that does nothing to reduce their hostility, and hostile acts, toward Israel. In fact, it makes it worse by A) taking away a "soft" weapon in Israel's arsenal, shutting off power and withholding supplies until the Palestinians put the hamas terrorists in jail instead of holding rallies for them, and B) aligning Hamastan with Egypt making it a de facto state of that country. Hamastan is totally dependent on outside aid to survive and its territory can never be viable unless they achieve their stated objective of pushing Israel into the sea (and not even then, given their incompetence to govern). Well, Egypt - a poor country itself - must be licking its lips at the prospect of all that western money flowing into its coffers via the merchants who sell to the Palestinians. Imagine if this became a permanent condition; then an attack against Hamas would be an economic strike against Egypt.

No, the solution is MORE Israel, not less Israel. The United States shoudl broker a deal to buy enough of the border area with Gaza to prevent gun-running and smuggling. Only then will there be hope to control this "hostile entity."
