Somber Note on Budget Struck by Mayor

Submitted by Elvis Aaron Burr, Jan 25, 2008 07:17

in the photo accompnying thearticle this com ment concerns, the mayor is show pointing to a board, of a verey nice green color...behind him is a portrait of the early secretary of the treasury, some beutifully architected windows and a series of New York City and United States flags. though the flags are being disrespected, an the are touching the floor.. if a man, in an elected position, the highest in the magistrate in whichn he speaks, cannot be witihn his faculty's enough to see that the flag of his magistrate isn't properly displayed,, how could he considered, or be expected to, have any more sense, than to vacuum the carpet that the flags are dragging upon..now dont be timid, but if you , this reader walked into the rooom where this press function was held,, the first thing you would notice is that the flags were dragging on the floor,,, if there was only one flag and it was not elevated you would notice it,, but there were nine flags,,and it seems from the perspective given by the photo that all seem to be on the floor...even more absurd is that if one was not , how come the others were not corrected ,,i thin the mayor just has hgis 'allowances' . you will recall his prospect of having every commercial storfront in the entire city, have uniformly corrresponding identifying signage,, color font size and presentation of eacg and every commercial location , in his mind, should have had a like visual identifier,, ,, has your peridoacl been inn existence since that story...

so, make note of this, and let's all hope that his daughter, and Bruce Springsteen's, both make the Olympic equestrian team...
