Rep. Rangel wants to include people on unemployment, in the stimulous plan, and that is wrong. Most of those people can get other jobs to support themselves, unlike the retired persons on social security, that are just too old or ill to work. The rest of those on unemployment simply are sponges, not even looking for a job until their unemployment "insurance" runs out, then they get a job, work long enough to get unemployment "insurance", and ride it out again. This along with the millions of other deadbeats claiming disability because of their life long drug habits, are sucking the system dry, not to mention the "pork barrel" spending on useless causes by the government itself. Maybe that is where the government should start looking for extra money instead of stealing it from social security, that none of the government officials contribute to in the first place.
