How did this now almost pervasive support, thoughout NYSun editorials & otherwise designated opinions, for ILLEGAL immigration come about? Perhaps I merely missed this strain, and train, of thought before the current levels of presidential (though very unpresidential in tenor) campaign coverage. It is extremely disturbing to see this advocacy of ILLEGAL means of making the United States home. Not only is it a flagrant disregard for the rule of law, but it is a slap in the face for those who patiently go through the lengthy but legitimate process. How do you reconcile that to calls for adherence to other statutes? How do you reconcile it to calls for greater national security? How do you--but why go through the litany?
