Clinton Irks Immigrants' Advocates

The United States Constitution, one of the most sacred documents In my life next to my spiritual beliefs, states very clearly in the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments that no one shall have life liberty or property (not happiness, as many people think- that's the Declaration of Independence) taken away without due process of law. In addition to the many substantive rights that encompasses which I won't bore you with, at a minimum they require a fair procedure with an opportunity to be represented by counsel. It is true that only in criminal cases is that counsel provided by the courts if one cannot afford it, but the "fair hearing" concept applies to EVERYONE subject to the jurisdiction of U.S. law here, in our territories (e.g. Guam), and even Guantanamo which is a U.S. base. It should have prevented people being sent to foreign countreis to be tortures in jurisdictions that don't forbid it.
No question that people get turned around at the U.S.-Mexican border and get a free ride back. However, they consent to that.
This is not a person I want as President. If she had been one of my law students I would have compelled her to write the Fifth Amendment 500 times for her ignorance and/or malice.
